All applicants have to complete our form to apply for a grant. Before applying, please ensure that you have read and understood the Conditions in our Conditions & Notes.
The application form has two parts. The first part asks general questions about yourself, your disability, the course you wish to attend and the costs for which you wish to apply. The second part requests information about your sources of income, including any welfare benefits or any financial support you may have requested from your current or proposed college, university or training centre.

Any questions?
If you have further questions we suggest you first look at the FAQs. If these do not fully answer your queries, please Contact us for further advice.
What happens next
As soon as we receive your form we will go through your details and then check your references once they arrive. If you are claiming dyslexia-related study costs, our Selection panel will need to see your most recent Education Psychologist’s report, which should be no more than three years old.
We may ask some extra questions at this stage, before confirming that your application is complete and ready to be presented to our Selection panel – in July or September, depending when you apply. Applications received after the closing date of 31 May will be considered at the Panel’s second funding meeting in September.
