Portrait of Bridget Leadbeater

“I am so grateful. In my case, not only have I benefited from the Scheme, but also those whose voice my PhD work seeks to highlight.”

Bridget Leadbeater

Since 1981 The Snowdon Award Scheme has existed due to Lord Snowdon’s recognition of a need to help disabled people in education, and his desire to do something about it. But we simply could not have helped so many students without support from people like you.

Whoever you are and whatever your circumstances – whether you’re a company or an individual – there is something you can do to help bright and enthusiastic people achieve the success they deserve. Receiving a grant can be a life–changing opportunity for them — not only allowing them to pursue academic goals but also enjoy student life as any other person would.
