“The grant has enabled me to use and learn such industrially-used tools more effectively and subsequently improve my understanding and academic studies.”

Peter Hanlon

We are extremely grateful for all support and donations, large or small, as they really do help our disabled students and trainees.

Everyone who has supported us will have received a personal thank you. We have also picked out a few of the many generous supporters to mention below.

Our London Marathon runners over the years have included individuals, company teams and some of the students we have helped – all keen to ensure we continue to support more disabled people in future.

Since we receive no statutory funding, the vast majority of our income comes in the form of donations from trusts and organisations. They have an interest in disability, education and young people and know we will use their funding wisely.

A small group of benefactors have supported our work for a number of years, and this long-term support has made an incredibly positive difference to the number of students given awards. They include trusts such as the Drapers Company; French Huguenot Church of London Charitable Trust; PF Charitable Trust, Redrow Foundation and the John Spedan Lewis Foundation. A special thank you to them.

All our major donors are listed on our 2007 Annual Review.

A big thank you to Awards for All (one of the Lottery grants programmes) for their donation to help us with the cost of creating this website.

Our thanks to those who have supplied pictures featured on the website, especially Richard Stonehouse/Camera Press and Peter Ruffle Photography for pictures from our annual student receptions and Downing Street anniversary reception, MarathonFoto for London Marathon runners and, of course, Snowdon Award students themselves.
