Portrait of Netta Doku

“I really feel that I am now heading in the right direction to achieve my goals and it is all thanks to your generosity.”

Netta Doku

Stephen Bradshaw OBE. Involved with the Snowdon Award Scheme since 1982, sadly Stephen passed away on Sunday 5th February.

We are very sorry to let you know that Stephen passed away on Sunday 5th February at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

The message came from the Spinal Injuries Association of which he was a founding member and its first Director. The front page of their website has a lovely photo of him at the time of writing this and you can read his obituary by clicking on his name above.

Stephen made a huge contribution to the Snowdon Award Scheme. He became a Selection Panel member in 1982 (the year after we were founded) and he chaired the Panel for 20 years, from 1987 to 2007. He became a Trustee in 2001. Undoubtedly, we all have some very fond memories and he will be greatly missed.
